Sheriff Chuck Smith reported that the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office and the Upson Regional Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 45 Jamestown Road, Gay, (Meriwether County), Georgia.
“On 07/29/2015 the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office and the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant on the residence of Don Alexander, B/M, 38 years of age, located at 45 Jamestown Road, Gay, Georgia. Narcotics Agents seized seven ounces of marijuana and a digital scale. Don Alexander was arrested for the offense of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. Alexander was transported to the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office Jail and is currently being held on a $7,500.00 bond.” Sheriff Chuck Smith said.
“I appreciate all the effort put forth by all the law enforcement officers involved. This was a successful operation.” Sheriff Chuck Smith advised.
