Meriwether County Sheriff Chuck Smith reported that his agency has made two arrests related to a search warrant that was conducted in the 400 Block of Gay Connector Road, Greenville, Georgia.
“On March 17, 2016 the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office and the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Gay Connector Road, Greenville, Ga. in regard to narcotic related offenses. The search warrant revealed multiple items located inside the residence that was in Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act. Agents located approximately 27.1 grams of marijuana and 3.0 grams of methamphetamine. Agents also located glass pipes commonly used to smoke illegal drugs along with digital scales and baggies. These items are consistent with the use and distribution of illegal narcotics. Agents arrested Beth Ann Dukes W/F, 59 years of age and Kenni Lynn Dobbs W/F, 52 years of age, both residents of the search warrant location. Dukes and Dobbs were transported to the Meriwether County Jail and were booked on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to Distribute and Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute. Bond was set at $17,500 for both individuals.” Sheriff Chuck Smith stated.
